We will match your vessel type (power, sail, catamaran, etc.), route  and circumstances with a captain who has the integrity, qualifications, licensing and experience necessary to make good decisions with regards to local conditions, problematic weather, alternate routes, mechanical issues, and the unexpected.  And we will complete the mission to relocate your vessel safely and satisfactorily to you.

 Your captain will be:

• a professional  --  selected for his/her reputation for integrity, accountability, and trust.  He/she will also have the qualifications, experience and ability to respond to your unique needs. 
   
• pre-qualified by years of experience and a reputation for excellence and professionalism that he/she has earned.
   
• a specialist in sail or power along the following routes:  East Coast U.S.:  from Maine to the Florida Gulf Coast and to and from Bermuda and the Caribbean, including Long Island Sound and Coastal and ICW routes between New England and Key West, FL.  West Coast U.S.:  from Canada to Mexico.
   
• kind to your yacht.  We spend considerable time (before the voyage) familiarizing ourselves with your yacht, its systems and capabilities.  We will not run in excess of your RPM or sail recommendations.
   
• prudent in all decisions and respect for the sea.  We do not take unsafe shortcuts, run your engine hard, or tempt poor weather for our convenience. You can expect delivery of a clean, undamaged boat cared for the way you yourself would. 

Additionally your captain will communicate a progress report to you DAILY, provide a post-voyage report of the vessel’s performance, and submit detailed expense documentation.

Our Process in Summary

Pre-voyage Arrangements:  We shepherd the pre-work and track what steps need to be taken to begin the delivery: including insurance, documentation, transportation, financial arrangements, and confirming the yacht’s readiness. 

Familiarization: Captain and crew arrive at vessel in time to study your yacht’s systems (and possibly make a repair), inventory navigation and safety equipment, check minimum legal requirements, fuel and provision and complete preparations.

Voyage:  Captain, crew and vessel depart and make best possible passage keeping a detailed log and communicating position and status to you daily.

Post-voyage:  We leave your vessel cleaner than we found it and without our “footprints” on it.  We turn your vessel over to the marina, agent or to you – as directed.  We offer a written or oral assessment of the vessel’s conditions and recommendations.
